Bail Granted by High Court Jaipur Bench
On April 30, 2026, the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan, Jaipur Bench granted bail in S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application No. 3116/2026 and provided relief to accused-petitioner Praveen Kumar S/o Lalit Kumar, who remained in judicial custody in connection with FIR No. 633/2023 registered at Police Station Kotwali, District Dausa.
The case involved serious allegations under Sections 147, 148, 149, 458, 323 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code, and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Praveer Bhatnagar heard the bail application.
Advocate Sharvan Singh Tanwar appeared on behalf of the accuspetitioner and advanced detailed arguments, emphasized false implication, and pointed out that allegations remained general and omnibus without attributing any specific role.
He further highlighted that similarly placed co-accused had already secured bail from coordinate benches, thereby entitling the petitioner to the benefit of parity, and he stressed the prolonged custody and likely delay in conclusion of trial.
The Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application and cited the gravity of the offence along with material available on record.
The Hon’ble Court heard both sides, perused the record, and applied the principle of parity while finding allegations against the petitioner nonspecific.
The Court also recognized that the trial would take considerable time and evaluated the circumstances accordingly during the proceedings.
The Court allowed the bail application on April 30, 2026, and directed release of the petitioner upon furnishing a personal bond and sureties.
The case demonstrates the significance of effective legal representation through criminal lawyer in Jaipur which help in securing relief in bail matters before the High Court.
